SUMMER IS QUICKLY APPROACHING! ARE YOU READY FOR IT?

The sun is now gracing us with its presence more days than not. Signs of summer are all around, but you still have about a month until it’s officially here. Here are a few ideas to cover some common summer-time goals:

WEIGHT LOSS: If you’re not quite ready to bare your biceps or belly on the beach or to ride your beach cruiser confidently around town in shorts, it’s not too late to make major changes to your body! The average person can safely lose 1-2 pounds of body fat per week. With the first day of summer being June 21st, you do the math to determine how much you are going to lose between now and then… now write it down and tell your friends!

MUSCLE GAIN/TONE: If you’d like to gain muscle by summertime talk with one of our Fitness Staffers to create a plan that’ll help you build muscle effectively. With a solid weight routine and a few of our Athletic Conditioning, TRX, and Fight Club classes mixed in, you’ll be stronger in no time!

RELAX: If you’ve been on overdrive all year and can’t even imagine lying around on the beach without a care in the world, you can get some practice by attending our Yoga or Stretch & Relax classes where you’ll learn to breathe deeply and ‘let go.’

TAN: Get outdoors with Beach Bootcamp! It starts at 5:30am when it’s not exactly sunny but you will see a killer sunrise as you workout hard on the beach. Bootcamp is $15/session- call Mike directly to join his Tuesday & Thursday sessions (760)954-1681. The Outdoor Power Walkers get more sun and a great cardiovascular workout Wednesdays & Fridays at 7:00am with trainer Susan.

VACATION READY: Whether your vacation involves relaxing in the sun or participating in strenuous activities you need to physically prepare for, a good way to be vacation ready is to hire a professional. Our Personal Trainers can help you safely and effectively get the results you’re after- just tell the trainer your goals and do the work they’ve designed for you, without cheating, and you’ll be happy with the results! Personal Trainers’ biographies and contact information can be found on our website and in the lobby.
