2014 SUCCESS


New Year’s has come and gone but each and every day can be a new opportunity to refresh, get focused, set intentions and most importantly, take action! You may have already set your goals for the New Year but have you taken action on them yet? I’ve heard many clients and gym members say they want to run a half marathon, maybe do a triathlon, lose weight, and eat better but I haven’t seen the action-steps that go along with these declarations. Verbally committing to a goal and making it know publicly provides great accountability. But the verbal commitment is one of the first steps of many in reaching your goals. Get out there and sign up for that race, identify how much weight you can lose and set an end date to go along with it, and define what it means to ‘eat better’. To reach your goals this year, try the following:
Write it out
Talk about it
Say it and see it daily
Break it down with mini-goals
Get accountability
Praise yourself regularly
Add a reward into the mix
Utilize all of your resources (especially the professionals at the gym)
